Sweet & sour purple cabbage

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 teaspoon Margarine
½ cup Chopped onion
3 cups Chopped purple cabbage
2 cups Apples - sliced and halved
¼ cup Water
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Vinegar
½ teaspoon Dijon mustard
¼ teaspoon Salt
⅛ teaspoon Pepper

Saute onion in cooking spray and margarine for 1 minute. Add cabbage and apples and saute for 3 minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover. Cook over low heat 20-25 minutes.

Sprinkle with carraway seed if desired.

Yield: 6 side-dish servings
