Sweet & sour red cabbage & apples

| 12 | ounces | Red cabbage |
| 2 | teaspoons | Sesame oil |
| 1 | pounds | Granny smith apples |
| ¼ | cup | Apple cider vinegar |
| 1 | tablespoon | Soy sauce, low sodium |
| 1 | tablespoon | Honey |
| ½ | teaspoon | Ground ginger |
| Ground pepper -- to taste | ||
Directions
With a food processor, shred red cabbage and mince garlic clove. Heat oil in a large nonstick pan and add garlic and cabbage. Saute over medium heat.
Wash, core, and cut apples into bite-size chunks. Add apples to cabbage and stir well. Add remaining ingred. Cover and cook over low heat til apples are tender, abt 7 min.
