Spicy pumpkin muffins

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Unsifted all purpose flour
⅓ cup Sugar
1 tablespoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1 large Egg
½ cup Milk
1 cup Pumpkin puree
¼ cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
½ cup Golden raisins.
Heat oven to 400. Grease 12 muffin cups.

In a bowl, combine dry ingredients and blend well. Beat egg with milk, pumpkin and butter until smooth. Stir pumpkin mixture into dry ingredients and blend until moistened. Stir in raisins. Spoon into muffin cups and bake until lightly browned++15 to 20 minutes. Serve warm. Shared By: Pat Stockett
