Spanish bean soup

Measure Ingredient
2 packs Spanish bean soup mix
2 larges Potatoes; diced
1 small Onion; chopped
1 pounds All meat stew; (cut in small pieces)
1 pounds Ham hocks
1 pounds Smoked sausage; (cut in small pieces)
\N \N Salt and pepper to taste

Soak beans overnight (8 hours), drain and rinse. Combine all ingredients in large pot, add seasoning from soup mix and 1½ to 2 quarts water. Bring to boil, lower heat to low and cook for at least 3 to 4 hours (until beans are tender). May be cooked in crock-pot or slow cooker. Put on in morning, ready for supper.
