Mexican bean soup

Measure Ingredient
½ pounds Ground beef
1 \N Medium-sized onion; chopped
1 can (14.5-oz) whole tomatoes; chopped
1 can (15-oz) red Kidney beans
1 can (7- to 8-oz) kernel corn
1 can (8-oz) tomato sauce
2 teaspoons Chili powder
1½ cup Water
\N \N Crushed tortilla chips for topping (optional)

Note: (optional) Add ½ teaspoon cumin and a few shakes of hot pepper sauce to heat it up.
