Measure Ingredient
⅓ cup Basil leaves, fresh chopped
2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 tablespoon Balsamic or white vinegar
1 8 oz loaf of frencd bread, - un-sliced
6 ounces Mozzarella cheese, thinly - sliced
4 ounces Pastrami, sliced thin
2 Plum tomatoes, sliced thin
⅛ teaspoon Cracked pepper

Set oven to broil. Combine basil, oil, and vinegar. Slice bread in half, lengthwise. Using a spoon, hollow out the bottom half of the bread. Layer half the cheese, all the pastrami, and the tomatoes in the bread shell. Top with basil mixture. Sprinkle with pepper. Top with remaining cheese. place on unheated rack of a broiler pan.
