Simple beer bread

Yield: 12 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Flour
1 pinch Sugar
1 pinch Salt
1 can (small) beer

Date: 16 Nov 1994 10:24:29 -0500 Mix all ingredients well to form dough. Transfer to greased baking tin (I use 1-lb or 2-lb). If using 2-lb multiply all ingredients by approx. 1½.

Cook at 200C for approx 45-60 minutes.

The recipe I have was given to me by a friend and was very approximate eg.

Cook until cooked (!) I generally leave it for around 50 minutes and serve warm with butter on each slice. REC.FOOD.RECIPES
