German beer bread

| 3 | cups | Self-rising flour |
| 2 | tablespoons | Sugar, rounded |
| 12 | ounces | Beer, room temperature |
| 1½ | teaspoon | Dillweed, cheese OR Bacon bits (opt) |
| 1 | pinch | Salt |
| ½ | cup | Butter, melted |
Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first five ingredients together well.
Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Pour butter over top and bake 10 minutes more or until brown. Best when eaten warm.
