German beer bread

3cupsSelf-rising flour
2tablespoonsSugar, rounded
12ouncesBeer, room temperature
teaspoonDillweed, cheese OR Bacon bits (opt)
1pinchSalt
½cupButter, melted

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first five ingredients together well.

Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Pour butter over top and bake 10 minutes more or until brown. Best when eaten warm.
