Shrimp verde

Ingredients

| ¼ | cup | Lime juice |
| ¼ | pounds | Tomatillos, husks removed |
| And diced | ||
| 1 | bunch | Green onions, sliced |
| 4 | Jalapenos, seeded and | |
| Chopped | ||
| 1 | Clove garlic, peeled | |
| 1 | bunch | Cilantro leaves, chopped |
| 1 | small | Avocado, peeled and pit |
| Removed | ||
| 1 | teaspoon | Sea salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Freshly ground black pepper |
Directions
Marinate the shrimp in the lime juice for one hour. Drain and reserve the juice. In a large bowl combine the shrimp, tomatillos, green onions, jalapenos, garlic, cilantro, avocados, salt and pepper and toss to coat.
Serve immediately.
Yield: 4 to 6 servings
