Savory bread crumbs

Quantity | Ingredient | |

2 | tablespoons | Finely chopped onion |
2 | tablespoons | Finely chopped parsley |
1 | Clove garlic; crushed to a paste with salt | |
8 | ounces | Fine bread crumbs |
1 | ounce | Sharp cheddar cheese; finely grated |
Combine all ingredients. If using a food processor, add in this order: garlic, onion, bread, parsley, cheese. These can be used on fish, chicken, etc. Any leftovers can be stored in a screw-top jar in the refrigerator.
