Sauteed mushrooms #3

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
5 tablespoons Butter
½ cup Finely chopped onion
2 pounds Button mushrooms; sliced in half
⅓ cup Dry cocktail sherry

Melt butter in large skillet. Add onion & saute until tender but not brown.

Mix in mushrooms & cook 8-9 min., stirring often. Just before serving,stir in sherry. Select small,firm button mushrooms so that when they are cut in half they will be bite-size.
