Yield: 6 Servings
|½ cup||Finely chopped onion|
|2 pounds||Button mushrooms; sliced in half|
|⅓ cup||Dry cocktail sherry|
Melt butter in large skillet. Add onion & saute until tender but not brown.
Mix in mushrooms & cook 8-9 min., stirring often. Just before serving,stir in sherry. Select small,firm button mushrooms so that when they are cut in half they will be bite-size.
