Sauted asparagus

Ingredients

2tablespoonsSliced onion
3tablespoonsOil
3tablespoonsSoy sauce
teaspoonSugar
2tablespoonsSherry
1packPowdered beef broth; (i.e. MBT or Herb Ox)
½teaspoonCornstarch mixed; mixed with:
3tablespoonsWater

Directions

Wash asparagus and cut diagonally about 2 inches long and ¼ inch thick.

Heat oil, brown onion a little; add asparagus cooking over a high heat until its color turns bright green. Mix soy sauce, sugar, powdered beef broth and sherry together; add to asparagus, and thicken with cornstarch mixture.
