| 1 | teaspoon | Cumin |
| ¼ | cup | Onion, diced |
| ½ | cup | Hot pepper, diced |
| 1 | can | (1lb.)Tomatoes,chopped OR |
| 2 | cups | Fresh tomat. peeled,chopped |
| ¾ | cup | Crushed pineapple |
| ¼ | cup | Lime juice |
| ⅛ | teaspoon | Cinnamon, ground |

Directions
In saucepan, melt butter. Add the cumin, onion and hot pepper. Saute until the onion is translucent, 2-3 min. Add the tomatoes, pineapple, lime juice, and cinnamon. Simmmer for 30 min. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Cool. Serve at room temp.
Exceptionally good with grilled fish.
Yield: Approx. 2½ cups.
