Salsa fresca

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Tomatoes(diced)
⅓ cup Onion(minced)
4 Serrano or jalapeno chiles
¼ cup Cilantro(chopped)
1 Garlic clove(minced)
¼ cup Lime juice
1 teaspoon Oregano -- dried
Salt and pepper to taste

Stem, seed and mince peppers. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

Taste for seasoning and adjust if necessary. Let stand 30 minutes before serving. Store in refrigerator up to 2 days Recipe By :
