Roasted celery

Ingredients

1tablespoonOlive oil
1Clove garlic.crushed; (optional)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
50gramsFresh white breadcrumbs; (2oz)
25gramsButter; melted (1oz)
1tablespoonFreshly chopped thyme

Preheat the oven to 190 C,375 F, Gas Mark 5.

Place the celery in an ovenproof dish and brush with oil and roast for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile mix together the breadcrumbs, butter, thyme and season.

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mix on top of the celery and return to the oven for a further 10 minutes.
