Ribbon meatloaf

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 slices Soft bread; torn-small pieces
1 cup Milk
1 pounds Ground beef or veal
½ pounds Ground lean pork
1 \N Egg yolk
¼ cup Minced onion
¼ teaspoon Pepper
¼ teaspoon Dry mustard
¼ teaspoon Celery salt
¼ teaspoon Garlic salt
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 \N Egg white; slightly beaten
1 tablespoon Water
2 slices Soft bread; torn into pieces
4 ounces Shredded or crumbled cheese



CHEESE FILLING: Combine egg white and water; toss lightly with bread crumbs and cheese.

MEATLOAF: Heat oven to 350F degrees. Stir together bread and milk; mix in remaining ingredients except filling. Pat one half of meat mixture in greased loaf pan 9x9x3". Cover with cheese filling. Top with remaining meat mixture. Bake 1 hour 30 minutes.
