| 4 | Boneless pork chops 3/4-inch thick | |
| 2 | tablespoons | Brown sugar |
| 2 | tablespoons | Hoisin sauce |
| 2 | tablespoons | Soy sauce |
| 1 | tablespoon | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 | tablespoon | Sesame oil |
| 1 | Shallot; minced | |
| 2 | teaspoons | Five-spice powder |
| 2 | teaspoons | Grated fresh ginger root |
| 2 | Garlic cloves; minced | |
Directions
For marinade, in a small bowl combine all ingredients except pork chops.
Place chops in a 1-gallon self-sealing plastic bag; pour marinade over chops; seal bag. Marinate in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours or overnight. Drain chops, discarding marinade. Pat chops dry and place in a shallow baking dish. Bake, uncovered, in a 350 degrees F. oven for 25-30 minutes or until chops are just done. Serves 4.
