Raisin-spice muffins

Yield: 12 muffins

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Flour
1 tablespoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
1½ teaspoon Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Ground ginger
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ cup Brown sugar, packed
½ cup Molasses
1 \N Egg, beaten
⅓ cup Butter, melted
1 cup Milk
¾ cup Raisins

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Sift the first seven ingredients together. Stir in the molasses, egg, butter and milk, just until moistened. Fold in the raisins. Fill paper lined muffin tins full and bake approximately 20 minutes.
