Raisin spice cake

Ingredients

| Add 1/2 box of rasins to 2 | ||
| Cups boiling water and cook | ||
| For 15 minutes. Then add 1 | ||
| Cup cold water and set aside | ||
| ½ | cup | Shortening |
| 4 | cups | Flour |
| 1 | tablespoon | Baking soda |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking powder |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| 2 | cups | Sugar |
| Stir until shortening melts, | ||
| Then add 1 teaspoon vanilla. | ||
| Add raisins and water. | ||
| 1 | teaspoon | Cinnamon |
| 1 | teaspoon | Nutmeg |
| ½ | teaspoon | Allspice |
Directions
SIFT TOGETHER
