|2 tablespoons||Chopped parsley|
|1 cup||Milk or half & half|
|2 tablespoons||Chopped chives|
|1 teaspoon||Lemon juice|
EXTRAS FOR ADDED FLAVOR
In a one quart sauce pan, over low heat, melt butter. Add flour and stir for 3 to 4 minutes or until well blended. Stir in milk slowly; cook, stirring constantly until thickened and smooth. Add one or more of the extras to alter the taste. Serve over vegetables or fish.
