Measure | Ingredient |

1 \N | Clove garlic -- minced |
1 medium | Chopped onion |
½ medium | Green pepper -- chopped |
½ pounds | Ground beef, extra lean |
1 dash | Salt |
1 dash | Pepper |
1 can | Baked beans -- 16 oz |
2 eaches | Hot dogs -- sliced |
Cook the bacon until crisp; set aside. Saute garlic, onion and green pepper in bacon dripping until golden. Add beef. Brown well; drain.
Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Stir in beans and hot dogs; cover and simmer over low heat for 10 min. Crumble bacon over top and serve. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
