Pumpkin bread #05

Yield: 16 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1⅔ cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
¼ teaspoon Baking powder
¾ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Ground cloves
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ teaspoon Allspice
¾ cup Sugar
½ cup Shortening (margarine; oil is OK; butter is OK)
2 Eggs
1 cup Canned pumpkin
1 cup Raisins

I've had this recipe for so long, I can't even remember where I got it.

Sift flour, soda, powder, salt and spices. In another bowl beat the sugar and oil until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in pumpkin and flour misture. Add raising. Turn into loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 60 minutes.

Makes one loaf
