Prairie wheat salad

Measure Ingredient
1½ cup Wheat
8 ounces Cream cheese
19 eaches Crushed pineapple
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
3½ ounce Pkg vanilla instant pudding powder
3 cups Whipping cream, whipped

Wash wheat and place in a 6 cup saucepan. Cover with cold water, soak overnight. In the morning, drain and rinse well in cold water.

Cover with fresh water and cook, simmering, for about 5 hours. Don't let wheat get to soft. Rinse in cold water and drain well. Stir in the cream cheese, pineapple, lemon juice and instant pudding powder.
