Polynesian hamburgers

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Beef, ground |
| 2 | cups | Breadcrumbs, soft |
| ¼ | cup | Onion; chopped |
| ½ | cup | Water; ice |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt, seasoned |
| 2 | mediums | Onions; cut in thick slices |
| 2 | tablespoons | Butter |
| ¼ | cup | Sugar, brown; firmly packed |
| 2 | tablespoons | Water |
| ½ | teaspoon | Mustard, dry |
| ¼ | cup | Vinegar |
Directions
Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, water, and seasoned saut. Shape into 4 patties. Saute onion in butter; remove. Brown hamburgers. Return onion to skillet. Combine remaining ingredients; add to hamburgers. Cover; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 30 minutes.
