Piquant tomato sauce

1. Heat the olive oil in a saucepan, add the garlic and red pepper and fry for about 5 minutes or until softened.
2. Add the tomatoes and oregano, season with salt and add chilli powder to taste.
3. Simmer, uncovered, for a further 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
