Pesto toasts^

Ingredients

| 1 | cup | Grated Parmesan | 
| 5 | tablespoons | Mayonnaise |

| 1 | French or sourdough baguette | |
| Cut in twenty four slices | ||

Directions
Finely chop garlic and basil in processor. Gradually pour in oil while machine is running; process until smooth. Mix in cheese. 
In a bowl, whisk together pesto and mayonnaise; season. 
Preheat broiler. Lightly brown one side of bread on one side. Spread pesto on untoasted side to within ¼" of edges. Broil until bubbly, do not burn. Garnish, if desired.
