Perfectly chocolate chocolate chip cookies

1cupAll-purpose flour
cupHershey's Cocoa
1teaspoonBaking soda
½teaspoonSalt
1cupButter; softened
¾cupGranulated sugar
¾cupPacked light brown sugar
1teaspoonVanilla extract 2 eggs
2cupsHershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1cupChopped nuts; (optional)

Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Stir together flour, baking soda and salt. In large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs; beat well.

Gradually add flour mixture, beating well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. About 5 dozen cookies.
