Pecan pie bars

Yield: 24 bars

Measure Ingredient
1 pack Yellow cake mix
½ cup Butter; melted
4 \N Egg; divided
½ cup Sugar, brown
1 cup Corn syrup, light
½ cup Corn syrup, dark
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup Pecans; chopped

Set aside ⅔ cup cake mix. Combine remaining cake mix, butter, and one egg. Mix with fork until crumbly. Press mixture into a greased 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, or until light golden brown. Combine reserved cake mix, remaining eggs, brown sugar, corn syrups and vanilla in a mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed with mixer for 1 to 2 minutes. Pour over partially baked crust.

Sprinkle with pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
