Chocolate pecan bars

2Sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1cupSoftened butter or marg.
4Eggs slightly beaten
teaspoonVanilla
cupChopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

: In large bowl mix at medium speed flour, sugar, and margarine until mixture resembles crust crumbs. Press firmly into a greased foil-lined 15 by 10 inch cookie sheet with sides. Bake for 20 minutes. Filling:

: Put 6 squares of chocolate with the corn syrup in a saucepan and melt over low heat, stirring until chocolate melts. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until blended. Stir in pecans. Pour filling over hot crust, and spread eveningly. Bake for 30 minutes or until filling is firm around edges. It should be slightly soft in the middle. Cool in pan on a rack.

: melt chocolate and drizzle over filling. Chill and then cut into bars.
