Peanut-chile sauce

Ingredients

1eachGreen serano chile, seeds
1xRemoved, roasted and peeled
¼teaspoonPiquins, or crushed red
1xPepper, seeds included
2eachesScallions, chopped,
1xWhite part only
2eachesCloves garlic, minced
¼teaspoonGinger, minced
½teaspoonPeanut oil
½cupBroth
½teaspoonSoy sauce
1teaspoonDark brown sugar
1xJuice of 1/2 lime
¼cupPeanut butter

Directions

Saute the green onion, garlic and ginger in the oil, 3 to 4 minutes, until soft but not browned. (I used the micro.) Add the stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in the remaining ingredients. Simmer until thickened (5 minutes in micro, or 10 on stove).
