Peanut pastry

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Flour
½ teaspoon Baking powder
\N \N Salt; pinch
⅓ cup Shortening
4 tablespoons Peanut butter; smooth
\N \N Cold water

Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt together. Cut in the shortening and the peanut butter with a pastry blender. Add just enough water to make it stick together. Chill. Roll out the pastry, fit it into the pan, prick all over with a fork and bake in a 475 def oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Cool before filling.
