1 | teaspoon | (small) baking soda |
1 | teaspoon | (level) of salt |
½ | pint | Buttermilk |
Directions
Sieve flour sallt and soda into a basin. Make a well in the centre , stir in enough buttermilk to make a soft dough . Turn on to a floured board and make into a round bannock about 2inches thick. Score across in four. Cook in hot oven on a lightly floured tin for about 25-30 mins. Wrap in cloth to cool.
