Measure Ingredient
8 pounds Pork butt
\N \N Hawaiian Rock Salt or coarse ground Kosher Salt (up to)
6 tablespoons Liquid Smoke (up to)
8 \N Leaves (or banana; taro, or Spinach leaves)

From: Claudia Knowles <KnowlesCM7@...> Date: Thu, 1 Aug 1996 02:17:09 -0400 Preheat oven to 500 degrees Rub pork butt with salt and Liquid Smoke. Wrap first in leaves and then in heavy foil. Place seam side up in a roaster with a lid. Cover and bake for ½ hour. Reduce heat and bake 3½ hours at 325 degrees. Shred into pieces and serve in a bit of its own juice.
