Oven b-b-que venison

Measure Ingredient
6 mediums Venison chops/steaks
\N \N Salt and pepper -- to taste
2 tablespoons Corn oil
1 medium Onion -- chopped
½ cup Water

Salt and pepper meat to taste. Brown meat in fry pan with corn oil for 5 minutes each side. Remove meat from pan and place in roasting pot with onion and water. Cover and bake in oven at 350 F for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and drain juice. Cover meat completely with bar-b-que sauce and bake an additional 30 minutes at 350.
