Opal's banana blueberry pie

3tablespoons(Heap) Flour
teaspoonSalt
1canBlueberries (15 1/2 Oz)
2teaspoonsLemon Juice
4To 6 Bananas
28-Inch Pie Shells -- baked
1pintCream -- whipped
5tablespoonsSugar

Directions

Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Add the blueberries, including the juice, and cook slowly until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. When mixture cools, slice the bananas into the baked pie shells and pour half the berry mixture over each pie.

Beat the sugar into the whipped cream and top the pies. Chill well.

Makes 2 pies.
