Opal's banana blueberry pie

Yield: 2 pies

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Sugar
3 tablespoons (Heap) Flour
⅛ teaspoon Salt
1 can Blueberries (15 1/2 Oz)
2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
4 To 6 Bananas
2 8-Inch Pie Shells -- baked
1 pint Cream -- whipped
5 tablespoons Sugar

Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Add the blueberries, including the juice, and cook slowly until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add the lemon juice. When mixture cools, slice the bananas into the baked pie shells and pour half the berry mixture over each pie.

Beat the sugar into the whipped cream and top the pies. Chill well.

Makes 2 pies.
