Old south buttermilk pie

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
⅓ cup Butter; softened
1½ cup Sugar
⅔ cup Buttermilk
1 pinch Salt
2 tablespoons Flour
2 \N Eggs; beaten
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Cream butter and sugar. Add buttermilk, salt, flour, eggs, and vanilla.

Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle top lightly with nutmeg and bake about 1 hour at 300'. Pie is done when knife inserted in center comes out clean
