Nut horns(cornulete)

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Oleo
1 pint Sour cream
3 xes Egg yolks
6 cups Flour
2 xes Yeast cakes
1 x Lemon rind
3 pounds Ground nuts
¼ cup Butter, melted
3 xes Egg whites
1 cup Sugar


Mix oleo and flour like pie dough. Mix together sour cream,yeast, egg yolks and lemon rind. combine all together and chill overnight.

Roll out and cut in 2 or 3 inch squares and fill with mixture of nuts, melted butter, egg whites and sugar. Roll up, pulling ends forward. bake at 350 for 20 min or until golden. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Submitted By MARK MIKLAS On 08-11-95
