Nonfat christmas wreaths - butter busters^

Measure Ingredient
¼ cup SmartBeat or Weight Watchers Extra Light lowfat margarine
3 cups Large mrshmallows (30)
1½ teaspoon Green food coloring
1 teaspoon Vanilla
4 cups Cornflakes cereal
2 eaches Tb cinnamon red hot candies

Spray saucepan with Pam. Melt margarine and marshmallows over low heat, stirring constanly, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat and whisk in food coloring and vanilla. Stir in cornflakes to coat them. Keep warm by placing in a larger pot or skillet filled with hot water, replacing water as it cools. Working quickly so mixture doesn't harden, use two spoons sprayed with Pam or spray it on your fingers, drop small mounds of cornflake mixture on to waxed papaer. Quickly form into wreath shapes. Immediately decorate with candies. When dry, they may be strung with ribbons for tree ornaments. Store in an airtight container. These will keep for 1 month for eating and forever as decorations. this is a fun project to share with the kids during holidays. Variation: to make lowfat Rice Krispies Bars as directed on package, substitute WW margrine for regular. the bars can be made with plain Rice Krispies, Fruity Pebbles or Fruity Marshmallow Krispies. Makes 32 squares containing 43 calories and ⅗ fat grams.
