Nana austin's baked macaroni and cheese

Measure Ingredient
1 large Box elbow macaroni
1 pounds Cheddar cheese, grated
1 pint Sour cream
1 cup Milk, scalded
½ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Velveta cheese grated
2 tablespoons Butter
½ cup Buttered bread crumbs (opt.)

Boil macaroni until tender and rinse under cold water. In a suace pan, scald milk, add cheeses and stir until melted. Remove from the heat and add sour cream and mix well. Add to cooled macaroni and place in a greased baking dish. Dot with the butter and sprinkle with the buttered bread crumbs if desired. Bake in a 375 degree oven 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
