Nana austin's baked macaroni and cheese

Ingredients

1largeBox elbow macaroni
1poundsCheddar cheese, grated
1pintSour cream
1cupMilk, scalded
½teaspoonSalt
1cupVelveta cheese grated
2tablespoonsButter
½cupButtered bread crumbs (opt.)

Directions

Boil macaroni until tender and rinse under cold water. In a suace pan, scald milk, add cheeses and stir until melted. Remove from the heat and add sour cream and mix well. Add to cooled macaroni and place in a greased baking dish. Dot with the butter and sprinkle with the buttered bread crumbs if desired. Bake in a 375 degree oven 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
