Mussel and bacon pasta

Measure Ingredient
250 grams Fettucine pasta
200 grams Kiwi Shoulder Bacon; chopped
1 Onion; chopped
3 Cloves garlic
1 teaspoon Minced fresh ginger
250 grams Tararua CrŠme Fraiche
500 grams Mussels; chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
2 teaspoons Sweet Thai chilli sauce; (2 to 3)
2 tablespoons Chopped fresh parsley; (2 to 3)

While the pasta is cooking (following the instructions on the packet) make the sauce.

Place the bacon, onion, garlic, ginger in a large hot fry-pan.

When the bacon has cooked and the onion is soft add the crŠme fraiche, mussels and season with salt and pepper and chilli sauce.

Add chopped parsley and add the hot pasta.
