Pasta and bacon pasticcio

Yield: 2 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Olive oil
15 grams Butter; (1/2 oz)
1 \N Onion; chopped
1 \N Red pepper; sliced
250 grams Pack 5 cheese tortellini
1 \N 70 grams pac pancetta; cubed
1 \N 142 millilit single cream; (5 fl oz)
1 teaspoon Cornflour with a little cold water
\N \N Salt and freshly ground black pepper

Heat the oil and butter in a saucepan, add the onion and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Add the pepper and cook for a further 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the pasta following pack instructions.

Add the pancetta to the onion and pepper mixture and cook for 5-6 minutes.

Pour in the cream, blended cornflour and add seasoning to taste. Cook for a further 2 - 3 minutes.

Drain the tortellini, add to the pancetta mixture and stir well to combine.

Serve immediately
