Pasta and bacon carbonara

| 250 | grams | Pasta; (8oz) | 
| 1 | tablespoon | Oil | 
| 1 | Clove garlic; crushed | |
| 250 | grams | Back or middle bacon; chopped (8oz) | 
| 2 | Eggs; size 3 | |
| 3 | tablespoons | Freshly grated parmesan cheese | 
| 3 | tablespoons | Double cream | 
| Salt and freshly ground black pepper | ||
| 25 | grams | Butter; (1oz) | 
Directions
1. Cook the pasta following pack instructions. 
2. Meanwhile, heat the oil, add the garlic and bacon and cook for 8-10 minutes, until browned.
3. In a bowl combine the eggs, cheese, cream and seasoning and mix well. 
4. Drain the pasta, toss in the butter and add to the bacon. Cook for 1 minute.
5. Remove from the heat, add the egg mixture and stir thoroughly. 
6. Serve immediately with a green salad and Italian bread.
