Mushrooms parmigiana

Yield: 4 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Lg fresh mushrooms
2 \N Cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Italian parsley, chopped
3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated
1 teaspoon Oregano
½ cup Bread crumbs
\N \N Salt & pepper
\N \N Water
½ cup Olive oil

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wash mushrooms and remove stems. Chop the stems and mix with the garlic, parsley, cheese, oregano, bread crumbs, and salt and pepper to taste. Place the mushroom caps cavity side up in an oiled shallow baking dish. Fill the cavities with the chopped mixture and fill the the bottom of the baking dish with ¼" water. Pour the olive oil evenly over the caps and bake 30 minutes.
