Mushroom quiche

Yield: 1 Pie

Measure Ingredient
1 Pastry crust
1 teaspoon Dijon
1½ cup Mushrooms, sliced
1 cup Gruyere, shredded
3 Eggs, beaten
2 cups Half and half
Salt and pepper
¼ teaspoon Ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon Paprika


Preheat oven 375 F. Place pastry in quiche pan or shallow casserole dish. Make holes in bottom of pastry with fork. Trim sides of pastry to fit pan. Using pastry rush, spread Dijon onto crust bottom and sides. Add Gruyere then mushrooms. To eggs, whisk in half and half, paprika and nutmeg. Pour into shell. Bake 1 hr.
