Mushroom burgers

Yield: 8 Burgers

Measure Ingredient
2 larges Eggs
½ cup Finely chopped onion
2 cups Chopped fresh mushrooms
½ cup Fine dry bread crumbs
¼ cup All-purposed flour
¼ teaspoon Ground thyme
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
½ cup Grated medium or sharp Cheddar cheese (Optional)
8 \N Hamburger buns, split and buttered

Whisk eggs together in bowl. Stir in onion and mushrooms.

Add next 6 ingredients. Mix well. Shape into patties, using ¼ cup for each. Cook in greased frying pan, browning both sides.
