Mushroom burgers

Ingredients

| 2 | larges | Eggs |
| ½ | cup | Finely chopped onion |
| 2 | cups | Chopped fresh mushrooms |
| ½ | cup | Fine dry bread crumbs |
| ¼ | cup | All-purposed flour |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Ground thyme |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| ½ | cup | Grated medium or sharp Cheddar cheese (Optional) |
| 8 | Hamburger buns, split and buttered | |
Directions
Whisk eggs together in bowl. Stir in onion and mushrooms.
Add next 6 ingredients. Mix well. Shape into patties, using ¼ cup for each. Cook in greased frying pan, browning both sides.
