Mom bess's raisen pie

Yield: 1 pie

Measure Ingredient
2 cups Raisens
2 cups Water
½ cup Brown sugar
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 pinch Salt
1 tablespoon Vinegar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 each Blob of butter

Boil raisens in 1¾ C. water for 5 minutes. Combine sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon. Add ¼ C. cold water. Add raisens. Bring to boil and add vinegar, butter, and vanilla. Bake in 350 oven in a couble crust.
