Mom's white clam sauce

Ingredients

| 2 | cloves | Garlic; minced |
| 2 | tablespoons | Shallots; minced |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Black pepper; fresh ground |
| ½ | cup | Parsley; chopped |
| 3 | cans | Minced clams; 6 1/2oz each, |

Directions
Heat the oil and butter in a large skillet. Add the garlic and shallots, and saute until golden. Add the remaining ingredients, heat thoroughly and serve over pasta.
