Mint chutney 2

Ingredients

| 1 | pounds | Tomatoes, chopped |
| 2 | cups | Light brown sugar |
| 1½ | cup | Sultanas (golden raisins) |
| 2 | teaspoons | Dry mustard (Coleman's) |
| 1 | pounds | Tart apples, chopped |
| 3 | Green peppers, chopped | |
| ½ | cup | Fresh peppermint, chopped |
| ½ | cup | Distilled white apple vinegar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Each: mace, allspice |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Ground clove |
Directions
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Combine all ingredients in a stainless steel pot.
Bring to a boil uncovered. Then lower to a simmer and cover for for the remaining cooking time: about 1 hour. The mixture should be thick like a good finished jam or marmalade.
