Mint chutney

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ripe tomatoes
2 cups Sugar
12 smalls Onions
1⅓ cup Seeded raisins
2 teaspoons Dry mustard
1 pounds Tart apples
3 larges Sweet peppers
½ cup Chopped mint leaves
3 cups Vinegar
1 teaspoon Salt

Scald and peel tomatoes. Chop vegetables and fruit. Add mint. Scald and cool vinegar. Add mustard, salt, and sugar. Combine with chopped ingredients. Mix until well blended. Let stand 10 days, stirring occasionally. The Household Searchlight
