Microwave swiss steak

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
2 pounds Beef round steak; cut into serving pieces
1 medium Onion; chopped
¼ \N Bell pepper; chopped
1 can (8-oz) whole tomatoes
1 can (6-oz) tomato paste

Place meat in water-soaked clay pot. Place onion and green pepper over meat. Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Cover with water-soaked lid. Microwave for 10 minutes on high. Re-arrange meat pieces; recover.

Microwave for 55 to 60 minutes on simmer or until meat is fork tender. Let stand 5 minutes, covered, before serving. Yields: 4 to 6 servings MC-RECIPE@...
